Marbella will be hosting an elimination round of the Davis Cup between Spain and Germany at the bullring in Puerto Banús between July 10th and 12th, when some 12.000 spectators are expected to attend. The last time the town hosted a Davis Cup event was twenty years ago.

The mayoress of Marbella, Angeles Muñoz, announced the good news at a recent press conference. “It is an honour for Marbella and it amounts to a great boost for tourism in our city, with its strong infrastructure of hotels and services,” she said.
