Malaga” is a gastronomic initiative being undertaken in the province of Malaga in which fourteen restaurants will be aiming to promote the haute cuisine available in this part of Spain, and encouraging greater creativity among the participating restaurants.

Many of the participating establishments have received international praise for their menus, yet remain relatively unknown to the local population. To encourage people to try a new level of cooking, special menus including three different tapas, a fish course, a meat course and a dessert have been set at just 45 euros per head. The menus have also been created to reflect the individual styles of the chefs in each restaurant.

Recognition
The province already holds a total of five Michelin stars, the highest gastronomic accolade, shared between restaurants in Malaga, Marbella and Ronda, and the participating restaurants see this initiative as an opportunity to promote high quality Spanish cuisine both to residents and the thousands of tourists who visit the province
